Quality

The necessity to implement a quality management system to control and monitor the performance of a contract is now the accepted norm within many organisations as a pre-requisite to the success of the operation.

It is the policy of D C S to always seek the highest possible standards of excellence in all aspects of cleaning and its related tasks.  In order to achieve this, D C S have introduced a quality control system throughout the Company to cover this.

The Agreed Specification

The first level of monitoring considers the agreed specification to ensure all tasks required to be completed are checked and inspected.

Reports completed by the supervisors, both during and immediately following the cleaning operation, focus on an in-depth inspection of all tasks required to be completed before the shift finishes.  Areas or tasks not completed correctly are re-worked and again re-checked before the shift ends, to ensure conformance.

Two inspection forms are utilised.  The daily inspection/weekly sign off sheets verifies the work to be completed within all areas, and the monthly inspection sheet checks the extended frequency tasks.

Each month the results of these inspections are consolidated onto the manager’s report form, showing the total tasks checked and the re-works necessary.

As inspections are based on checking the work of each individual operative, rather than an area of the building, and not where tasks have needed to be re-done, we can identify training needs  and set an improvement level, either on an individual or a team basis.

We believe that the above enables us to work towards greater productivity levels over the life of a contract and it ensures we comply with your expectations.
