Dependable Staff

Employing both full and part time staff, D C S strictly adheres to personnel procedures.

  • All staff complete a job application form and are interviewed prior to any job offer.
  • A verification of a right to work must be provided by all staff e.g. Passport, Work Permit, National Insurance number etc.
  • Two references must be provided, one personal and one from an employer.
  • No staff are sent to a site without these basic criteria being met and the necessary training given.
  • All staff must wear the company uniform and comply the company and client dress code.
  • All staff are encouraged to be flexible and friendly when on site.
  • All staff are paid at least the National Minimum wage

Before commencing cleaning duties all new staff will be subject to our Introduction Programme which includes an assessment of current skills. All staff would then be trained appropriately in relation to the duties required and re assessed periodically to ensure that we have the necessary skills deployed on site at all times.

Relief Staff

For notified periods of staff absence due to long term sickness or holidays, relief staff will be provided. For absence with no notice relief staff will also be provided as soon as possible but no later than the following working day. Alternatively, other staff on site would work over time to complete all duties. When or if we are prevented from working overtime we would operate a priority system of cleaning i.e high risk, hygiene and prestigious areas to be cleaned first followed by as necessary cleaning in other areas.
